My fifth goal for 2018 was to plant a garden.
And plant a garden we did!
We took a more practical route to my original plan of ripping up grass to make room for a garden and instead planted a few raised beds.
Will and I spent an afternoon at Home Depot (not my first choice for gardening supplies, but we had giftcards and that's often the deciding factor of where we shop) picking out flowers of all sorts of kinds!
Apart from the flowers we bought, we also planted beans, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries!

The Saturday we planted was so nice and sunny we were working outside until 8pm and then enjoyed some delicious bbq'ed ribs!
